RUTH SCHREIBER

Yoga Instructor

Education:

  • Smith College

Specialty Areas:

Philosophy on Fitness & Life:

  • Alignment

Ruth Schreiber (RYT 500) has been practicing yoga for ten years. The first time she came to a class, she was hooked on the quiet she felt while practicing in a community. She now teaches alignment-based vinyasa flow with a focus on intelligent, thoughtful sequencing. She believes that with consistent practice, there can be a quieting of inner and outer noise, leading to living a more present life on and off the mat.

Ruth’s class allows for the connection between mind, breath, and movement, while encouraging students to meet themselves where they are at in their practice. Her teaching is best known for precise alignment cues, drawing students deeper into their bodies. Her hope is that throughout her class students find themselves more deeply rooted in the present moment. She completed her 200-hour teacher training in 2017 and completed her 300-hour training in November 2024 under the guidance of her mentor Kristin Olson.
